Thoughts on E3 trailers

arwingyoshiSo, I finally got around to watching the trailers that debuted at E3 on youtube. Gotta say, there were a few things that at least caught my interest.
First of all, Mass Effect 3 trailer! This one looks like it's going to be even more epic than the last two, what with this being the conclussion of the story. Plus, an omni-tool as a stabbing weapon look awesome.
I actually avoided the trailer for the new Assassin's Creed, because I have yet to play Brotherhood and do not want potential trailer spoilers, just in case. Same goes for Final Fantasy XIII-2 and InFamous 2.
Silent Hill Downpour looks kinda creepy. Granted I don't play Silent Hill because I'm too chicken, but LPs can be fun to watch. Get all the scares and story while having someone else do the playing. At the very least, I'll bet Helloween4545 will have an LP of the game, and he's always entertaining. Same with the upcoming Metro game. And the new Resident Evil.
Soul Caliber V we'll have to see about. I like those games, especially the character customization feature.
I was actually kinda surprised that Nintendo is making a sequel to Luigi's Mansion, since the first game wasn't exactly a smash hit. Not that it doesn't have its fans, and it is a pretty fun game. Guess now that they're working on a Wii game and not an early Gamecube one, they figure a sequel will do better, because it can be a bigger game.
Definatly looking forward to Skyward Sword, because I'm a Zelda fan. The new Kirby game looks pretty cute, and I was interested to see that each power actually has more than one move.
I've never played Prototype so I can't say much for the trailer to Prototype 2. But the first one does look like a pretty cool game with an interesting story if one can get past the non-stop video game cruelty potential.
Prey 2 looks pretty cool, even though I've never played the first one or seen an LP. But I love Bethesda and the game still looks awesome. That and I have a thing for bounty hunters.
Finally, after so many yeaers, we're getting a new Sly Cooper game. And it sounds like they'll actually use the sequel hook from Sly 3.
Lots of stuff regarding Skyrim, which got me excited all over again. Dammit, Bethesda, November isn't soon enough!
Arkham City! I want this game already. And it seems Catwoman is playable in this one. I'm curious to see whether her's will be a seperate campaign or whether the game will switch back and forth between her and Batman. Or whether she's just featured in Challenges.
Well, looks like Alien Colonel Marines is finally going to see the light of day. The AvP games are another too-freaky-for-me franchise, but there's always LPs.
So yeah, definatly looking forward to a lot of these games.
