So after about half a year of impatience, Bethesda finally announced that Dawnguard and Hearthfire will be released for PS3 in late Feburary, along with Dragonborn. At a 50% discount even. I’ll consider it an early birthday present from Bethesda.

I think I’ll do them with my Nightblade Dunmer, Finn, first. Then my Nord, Lockdown (yes, based on the Transformer), and then my Argonian.

And to all the haters who thought that Bethesda was skimping out on us PS3 owners and thinking that we weren’t worth the trouble: STFU!

Saw Tron a while back, but never posted anything on it. It wasn't a masterpiece of storytelling, but it was still a very fun movie. Very much a Tron movie. Even if digitally de-aged Jeff Bridges was kinda creepy looking. So yeah, I liked it.

Now, onto Dragon Age Origins. Fun game, very fun. Has the Bioware staples of being very long, letting you tell the story and shape the protagonist as you see fit, and being so fun that you don't want to stop playing. For my first playthrough I went with female human noble, who romanced Leliana.

For a Bioware game, it's got a lot of black and grey morality. A lot of the time there is no "right or wrong" choice. It really all comes down to what the player sees as the better solution. There are times when it's a little less ambiguous, though. It's also really dark, what with the PC suffering a personal tragedy in the first half hour of the game and then suffers tragedy after tragedy. Also unusual for a Bioware game is the lack of karma meter. I've heard it's got a lot of similarities to Balder's Gate, which I've never played but have heard is good.

I'm also such a huge dork that I've already got my next few playthroughs thought out in terms of origins, genders, and love interests.

So yeah. Tron is good, Dragon Age is good.

So, while everyone on my f-list seems to have gotten into Supernatural, I myself have gotten into Millenium. It's good. Really good. And not just because of Lance Henriksen, but he is a big factor.

I really like Frank Black. He's such a likeable character, being someone who wants to help people and catch the bad guys while also being a loving family man. But there's also the fact that he's usually tettering on the edge of insanity thanks to his ability. Probably the biggest reason he hasn't yet is because, more than anything, of the unconditional love he has for his wife and daughter. Makes for a really great character. I honestly think this is Lance Henriksen at his best and Frank is probably his best heroic performance, if not his best performance period. His best villainous performance would be Lockdown, of course.

The other characters are good too, and their actors do a fantastic job, especially Frank's wife, Catherine, and his young daughter, Jordan. The family definatly has a good dynamic going. At least one villain-of-the-week was a bit narmy, but the episode was still enjoyable.

I also can't help but notice how well-shot the series is. The camera work is excellent, and so is the lighting. The lighting really brings out Lance's features, especially his eyes. Every few minutes I find myself going "wow, Lance has pretty eyes".

Just about to finish season 1, then it's on to season 2. Now if only there was some fanfiction out there...

Yeah, I still need to get on the art one that's similar to this one, and I swear I will once I have my art muse back. In the meantime, might as well do this one too.
